Company History

Good Samaritan Laboratories, Inc. is owned by the family of Jack and Delores Winterbottom. There is a family legend that the company was first formed by a Union army civil war general who resided in Washington after the war. The company was moved to Philadelphia when, in 1961, H. Norman Hazel obtained the rights to the Good Samaritan name. Since then, it has experienced a steady growth of customers who have great loyalty to the product.
